Welcome to Moulton Parish Website

Moulton is a large village of some 3500 people in the centre of Northamptonshire (Rose of the Shires!). Situated some four miles north-east of the county town of Northampton, we are close to the centre of England. There are some 1000 homes in our community and the oldest cottages in the central figure-of-eight road system are built of the rich dark honey coloured local stone. The oldest part of the village is designated as a conservation area, and has many distinctive high raised pathways and several thatched cottages dating back hundreds of years.

The village has a strong community spirit, and is a warm friendly place to live. It has four pubs and a Working Men’s Club, as well as thriving church communities, lots of clubs and organizations. Each year in May, a week long programme of entertaining events is held under the title of Moulton Village Festival.

We hope this website will provide you with the information to find out all you need to know about our village.
